1) Overview & Acceptance
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and JT Media LLC (“JT Media,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Pennsylvania limited liability company, governing your access to and use of our U.S.-only job-seeking platform and related sites, forms, and communications (collectively, the “Services”). By submitting information through our forms, creating or using an account, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Connector only. JT Media is a marketplace/connector that facilitates contact between job seekers and employers or their agents. We are not an employer, staffing agency, or employer of record for any role posted through the Services and are not a party to any employment relationship or offer.
2) Eligibility; U.S.-Only Service
- You must be legally permitted to work in your jurisdiction and meet the minimum working age in that jurisdiction. The Services are not directed to children under 13 and may not be used by them.
- The Services are offered only in the United States. You may not use the Services in, or for jobs located in, non-U.S. jurisdictions.
3) Platform Controls; Employers & Postings
JT Media publishes application forms and controls which postings are made available. We enroll hiring partners manually; employers cannot self-publish postings without our involvement. We may remove, suspend, or edit content at our discretion to protect users or comply with law.
Employer obligations (summary)
- Comply with all applicable laws, including wage/hour, pay-transparency (e.g., where salary ranges/benefits must be disclosed), immigration, and equal employment opportunity (EEO) requirements.
- No discriminatory, misleading, illegal, or harmful postings; no unpaid “trial work” or roles that shift hiring costs to candidates where prohibited.
- Accurately describe duties, location, schedule, pay, benefits, and any required licenses or credentials; promptly update or remove filled or withdrawn roles.
JT Media may remove postings or suspend access for non-compliance. Employers are solely responsible for their postings and hiring decisions.
4) Identity & Credential Verification
We may, in our discretion, use verification measures (including SMS verification, identity or credential checks, and professional license verification for caregiving roles). Verification may affect access to certain features or postings. We do not guarantee the identity, qualifications, or trustworthiness of any user or employer.
5) Healthcare Roles; No HIPAA BA; No Guarantees
- For healthcare-related roles, employers are solely responsible for verifying licensure, credentials, exclusion status, immigration/work authorization, and fitness for duty.
- JT Media is not a HIPAA Business Associate. Do not submit Protected Health Information (PHI) through the Services.
- We may conduct brief coordination calls to assess interest/fit or to schedule interviews. These activities do not constitute background checks, consumer reports, or legal screening.
6) No Consumer Reports; FCRA Notice
JT Media is not a consumer reporting agency (“CRA”) and does not furnish consumer reports or investigative consumer reports for employment purposes under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) or similar laws. Employers are solely responsible for any background screening and for all associated disclosures, authorizations, and adverse-action requirements.
7) Communications; SMS/TCPA Consent
By providing your phone number or email, you consent to receive communications from JT Media and participating employers regarding roles, interviews, reminders, and status updates. These may include automated or prerecorded messages. Msg & data rates may apply. You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP; reply HELP for assistance. Consent is not a condition of purchase or applying.
8) Acceptable Use
- No scraping, crawling, harvesting, or bulk collection of data from the Services.
- No reverse engineering, security testing without permission, or interference with the Services.
- No spam, fraud, harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or unlawful content or conduct.
- No misrepresentation of identity, qualifications, licensure, or employment authorization.
- Do not submit PHI, highly sensitive personal data, or content you lack the right to share.
9) No AI Features
JT Media does not use AI features for candidate evaluation or automated decision-making in the Services at this time.
10) Privacy
Our processing of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. Please review it for details on collection, use, and your choices.
11) Disclaimers; No Guarantees
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” JT Media disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that you will obtain employment, any particular interview, or specific outcomes. We do not control and are not responsible for employer actions or decisions.
12) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JT Media and its owners, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of profits, goodwill, data, or business interruption; or cost of substitute services, arising out of or related to the Services or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility. For users who have not paid JT Media any fees, JT Media’s total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Services is limited to $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. This section applies to the maximum extent permitted and does not limit non-waivable rights.
13) Your Responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of information you submit and for your conduct in using the Services. Employers are responsible for their postings and hiring decisions.
14) Changes to the Services or Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where required, reasonable advance notice (e.g., 10 days). Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
15) Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time for violation of these Terms, legal risk, security concerns, suspected fraud, or as otherwise required by law or our policies.
16) Dispute Resolution; Binding Arbitration (RapidRuling)
PLEASE READ: Except for small-claims matters eligible in your local small-claims court, any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by Mediation and Civil Arbitration, Inc. d/b/a RapidRuling in accordance with its then-effective Commercial Arbitration Rules. Arbitrators will be appointed by RapidRuling. The seat of arbitration is Dallas, Texas. Any hearing may be held by video or telephone conference; no objection may be taken to an award based on a remote hearing.
Electronic service of process: The parties consent to service by email, including from efile@rapidruling.com, to the following addresses: jakekoster505@gmail.com, tyler@mansmann.one, and the email address you provided to the Services. You must add these addresses to safe senders and check spam/junk folders regularly.
Class/representative actions waived: Arbitration will proceed on an individual basis only; class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceedings are not allowed. The arbitrator may award relief only in favor of the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent necessary to provide relief warranted by that party’s individual claim.
Judgment on any award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. If any part of this clause is found unenforceable, the remainder will still apply to the extent permitted.
17) Governing Law; Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. For matters not subject to arbitration (including entry of judgment on an award or eligible small-claims matters), the exclusive venue will be the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, and you consent to their jurisdiction and venue.
18) Miscellaneous
- Severability; waiver; assignment; entire agreement; headings for convenience only.
- If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remainder will remain in effect.
- You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale, or by operation of law.
